Sierra Sandison Walks the Runway and Wins... WITH A PUMP

On Friday, July 18, Sierra Sandison won the title of Miss Idaho and will be progressing to compete for Miss USA. For the swimsuit competition, she walked the runway with a pump attached to her bathing suit. Sierra serves as a role model for diabetic girls across the country, directly proving that diabetes should not hold them back from displaying their beauty. Sierra continues to encourage other diabetics by starting a hashtag called #showmeyourpump and by talking about her life with diabetes on her blog
