Dexcom G4 Platinum is Out!

On March 1, 2015, Dexcom released the newest version of its continuous glucose monitor, with an incredible update!

Now, the same CGM can send data directly to a smartphone app using Bluetooth technology that is built into the receiver. The previous release, the Dexcom Share, involved a cradle and has now been significantly improved to allow transmission of data to the app at all times without the need for a cradle.

Dexcom has continued to build upon its CGM, introducing incredible technology that continues to enhance the device’s ability to keep diabetics safe. Sweet Siblings commends Dexcom as well as the Nightscout Movement and other activist groups that have been determined to see a CGM that reads directly to a smartphone on the market.
